Spring Time

Okay so we aren't quite as spring yet. We just had a dumping of snow yesterday but the temperatures are nice and mild. I know spring is coming soon and that makes me happy.

I am totally in love with the new Felt pieces that Stampin' Up! has in the Occasions Mini. They are so vibrant and cheerful that I love using them on my cards.

This card is made with Whisper White cardstock and cut to 5.25" square. I layered Chocolate Chip over my base with a layer of Sweet Pea DP on top of this. I then paper pierced my edges for that great dimensional feel. On top of this layer I added another strip of Chocolate Chip and a strip of the Welcome Neighbour DP from the Sale-A-Bration mini. Cute eh?

Finally my top layer, which is popped up with dimensionals, is made by layering some more DP onto a square of Chocolate Chip cardstock, paper pierced again and the Sweet Pea stitched felt, smack dab on top.
