Father's Day
Hello all in stamping land. I hope everyone had a good Father's Day. We made the most of ours and Chris loved the gifts he received.
I came across another Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the U.S. by the name of Michelle Zindorf and if you think you've seen some nice brayered and/or distressed creations before, wait until you see her work. WOW!!! It's hard to describe how talented she is. Her understanding of light and depth is incredible. So I just had to try a card myself. I based my card off of one of her designs and made some changes. Chris loved it.
I stamped the motorcyle using Versamark pad first and then stamping on my Black Ink pad and then onto my paper. I coloured the bike in with my Stampin' Write Markers, then with a Versarmarker and heat set once again. I covered with Clear EP and heat set. I then brayered my grass with Certainly Celery ink, and the sky with Apricot Appeal and Tangerine Tango and Summer Sun. I sponged black ink around the edges for a bit more dramatic effect.
I layered this onto Tangerine Tango cardstock which I then layered on Basic Black. I added brads to the side of the black and then layered onto my Apricot Appeal cardfront. I finished the card by stamping the words Because I Care in Basic Brown ink.
Thanks for looking.
Margaret
