Kindness
Here we are in the middle of another week already.
We had to take Madden back to the vet on Saturday as he suddenly took a turn for the worse on Friday. We are pretty sure it was his dogfood and so far he has been doing well back on the gastro food and on a new dog food that we are slowly implementing into his diet.
Today I am sharing a bright and cheery card to brighten our cold and dreary work week.
The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 made from Daffodil Delight cardstock. Don't you just love this new cheerful yellow. I ran the card front through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate.
The layers are each made from Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White cardstocks. I used the 2 3/8 and 1 3/4 scallop circle punches and cut them at the valley of each scallop so that the circles now look like daisy's. I added a Bold Button with linen thread to the top of the flower. The Whisper White that the flowers are on was dry embossed with the Lattice Embossing Folder.
I stamped my sentiment using the Level 3 Hostess set Occasional Quotes. I love this set. It is so versatile. If you would like to earn this set free contact me about hostessing a workshop (in my local area) or catalogue party (Canada only)
I added some more Bright Buttons with linen thread to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by.
Margaret :)
